Landscape Architecture
Restore Beautifully.
Est. Kansas City, Missouri
Projects that respect the setting, age, and presence of whatever home inspires it.
Public gathering spaces that relieve stress, inspire, and bring together
Devoted in everything to doing whatever possible in order to restore our environments.
Our Mission
For the sake of congruity each project should respect and complement the lived and aged character of its surroundings.
The environment will always largely be taken into consideration ensuring that the piece not only creates a non-negative impact, but instead, fosters a beneficial relationship with the ecosystem it inhabits.
The intent of each design should act as a reflection of how each space is used and lived in, acting as a historical representation of how those who utilized the space lived.
Transcending the other tenets, integrity acts as the core principle implicating that all VLA projects should adhere to all other tenets not only at the time it is created, but for many decades to come.
VLA Difference
8as of
As designers of the future who, alongside the rest of humanity, shape each coming moment, we believe it is imperative to acutely reverse the effects of The Urban Heat Island Effect, one tree at a time.
Meet the Designer
I founded VLA junior year of college, studying Landscape Design and Civil Engineering. Beginning only with design, I was motivated to find any way to make a difference in restoring environments and fighting climate change. Inspired and driven by every person I had had the fortune of meeting, I vowed to do what was possible to make our future brighter.
“I believe each project should be created to honor the integrity of the previous architects of whatever setting it is placed in, beginning with the environment and the life that inhabits it.”
The Craft
The perspective of those experiencing each project is a key component when building a stress-relieving and inhabitable space, tailored to every facet of how the space may be lived in.
Careers
We hire rarely and deliberately. If you design thoughtfully, plant well, and think in decades, introduce yourself.
